Dance West in Orange County, Los Alamitos, California is NOW ACCEPTING Scholarship Applications through May 15, 2011
This is for a One Year Dance Scholarship.
Any boy or girl age 9 through 12 who resides in Southern California can apply.
One applicant will be chosen to receive the full one year dance scholarship, and one will be chosen as Runner Up.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be between the ages of 9 and 12
Must reside in Southern California
Must complete the application form
Selection is based on the following criteria:
Financial Need
Passion and desire to dance
Talent, potential and positive attitude
Ability and willingness to commit to a yearlong program
The Scholarship will run from July 1 2011 through June 30, 2012

Summer Dance Intensive At The National Ballet of Canada - Their First
The National Ballet (company) of Canada announces a new summer dance intensive.
"New this year The National Ballet of Canada will offer a 10 day Summer Dance Intensive that will give young ballet students the opportunity to learn from professional dancers right in the National Ballet’s studios. Ballet students ages 14 to 18, who have an Intermediate or higher level of ballet training, will participate in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Repertoire and Hip Hop classes taught by professional artists from the National Ballet and others."
