It's the...I don't agree with "Carbs make you fat." It's the combination of all foods and an individual's rate of metabolism and exercise regime. Carboydrates provide energy to the body for multiple systems. Carboydrates are not fats. It's one of the 6 essential elements the body needs. Now simple carbohydrates are empty calorie foods, they are bad for the body because you'll want more food to compensate for the lack of value.
